“With regard to the increase in the number of arriving citizens of the Russian Federation on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, we note that the issue of their stay in our country is regulated by the legislation of Uzbekistan, bilateral and multilateral legal acts, including their possible extradition,” the statement on the Foreign Ministry website says.

The department noted that citizens of foreign countries who have not committed offenses are not subject to forced deportation.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that it does not plan to ask Kazakhstan, Georgia and other states for the forced return of Russians in these countries as part of a partial mobilization.

The press service of the head and government of North Ossetia reported that Russian citizens subject to conscription are given subpoenas at the border with Georgia.

State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin commented on the situation with people leaving the country after the announcement of partial mobilization.
