It was at the end of August that two teenagers were hit by a car outside Burgården's high school in central Gothenburg.

Charges were brought on Friday against the two young men who were previously detained, suspected of serious assault.

Argument before the crime

- As the investigation stands now, there was an initial brawl outside the school in which the defendants are said to have been involved, says chamber prosecutor Ulrika Åberg.

However, the prosecutor does not know what the fight was about, but believes that it must have been the reason why they got into a car and ran over the two teenagers.

The car was later found by the police at Hisings Backa and they were able to arrest the two defendants only an hour after the incident.

Denies crime

At an initial stage, three people were arrested, but according to witnesses, only two people should have been present at the time of the incident.

The two young people admit that they were outside the school but deny any crime.
