In their appeal, the legislators noted that in connection with the recent tragedy in one of the schools in Izhevsk, it is necessary to take immediate measures to improve the security level of Russian educational institutions.
In particular, the deputies propose to consider a proposal to strengthen control over the passage of citizens on the territory of educational institutions, namely, to ban the presence of unauthorized citizens on the territories of educational institutions during classes.
“I also consider it important to enclose the building of each educational institution with a fence of 2.5-3 m, the gates for passage throughout the school day should be locked from the inside, they should be closed 30 minutes before the start of the educational process and open only when the main lessons are over and the children go home,” the text of the appeal reads.
The legislators added that parent-teacher meetings should be held only in the evening and without the presence of children.
Earlier it became known that as a result of shooting at a school in Izhevsk, 17 people died, 11 of them were children.
