“The temporary flight restriction regime at 11 Russian airports has been extended until October 10, 2022, 03:45 Moscow time,” the message says.

The rules will affect the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista.

The rest of the country's airports will continue to operate normally.

On May 20, the Russian government allocated more than 1.5 billion rubles to compensate for the operating costs of airports in the south and in the center of Russia.
