This is the terrible toll of a collision that occurred on June 29, 2018 in Brest.

The impact had been very violent and two people had lost their lives in the accident, a 29-year-old paramedic and a 75-year-old patient who was in the back of the vehicle.

Two other people were also injured.

The blood test of the driver who caused the accident revealed a blood alcohol level of 1.8 grams per liter of blood.

Tried for manslaughter, the 41-year-old man was sentenced Thursday by the Brest court to four years in prison.
