• Taxes Montero tries to dilute the fiscal strategy of the PP with a covert harmonization and censoring deflation

  • Collection Montero presents a tax increase of 3,144 million, with a reduction in personal income tax on income of up to 21,000 euros and a temporary tax on 23,000 rich

The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, described the tax reform announced by the Government as "fiscal populism" and believes that the Executive has improvised these "confusing" changes to respond to the suppression of the

Patrimony tax

decided by the Andalusian president, Juanma Dark.

In Feijóo's opinion, if that tax had been suppressed by the Government of

Catalonia

, the answer would not have been the same, "because what would be in question would be the Government itself."

In his speech before the

La Toja Forum

, which he himself promoted as president of

Galicia

, Núñez Feijóo focused his speech on the fiscal reform of the Government of Pedro Sánchez and on the possibility of State agreements.

The head of the opposition blames Sánchez for the lack of agreements, which, he said, has rejected the five documents he has sent him as the basis for possible agreements on economic, energy, judicial, defense and foreign affairs.

Feijóo blamed the Prime Minister for not informing him of state issues.

The leader of the PP does not think it is a good idea to approve a tax reform to punish "what the rich call" or stigmatize taxpayers "with names and surnames."

Feijóo believes that at this time "lowering taxes is not right or left, but common sense."

And he recalled that when he was president of the Xunta de Galicia he did not abolish the Wealth tax, as Juanma Moreno has done.

Regarding the pending renewal of the CGPJ, the

popular

president did not refer to Commissioner

Reynders

' visit to Spain to mediate the matter, he only recalled that the PP has sent a document with "sensible" requests for the renewal of the Judiciary that the government has not even replied.
