The police and military have on two occasions tried to issue summons orders to Egor.

The day after the first attempt, he and his friend, who also risked being drafted, left the country.

Together they drove to the Russian border with Kazakhstan.

- We had five kilometers to go to the border and it took us over two days to get there.

In one night we had moved 200-300 meters.

During the day, we almost stood still, he says.

They decided to cross the border on foot, leaving their car behind in Russia.

However, the border guards do not allow pedestrians in, only vehicles.

Therefore, they ended up having to jump into other people's cars to get into Kazakhstan.

- It wasn't free.

I paid my monthly salary for it, says Egor.
