Social media users and Tunisian pages circulated videos showing elements of the French security trying to withdraw the Palestinian flag from some fans of the Tunisian team in the stands of the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris during the friendly match against Brazil on Tuesday.
And videos spread showing security forces trying to pull the Palestinian flags from the hands of some Tunisian fans who were hoisting them in the stands.
This behavior of the security men was met with boos and chants in the name of Palestine, and among the chants the Tunisian masses chanted, "With soul and blood, we will redeem you for Palestine."

One of the footage shows that despite an attempt to withdraw the flag from a fan's hand, he refused and raised it again, calling Palestine amid greetings and encouragement from the fans around him in the stands.
Arab tweeters interacted with this incident, as most of them praised what the Tunisian public did and its insistence on supporting Palestine, despite the attempts of French security men, and others criticized the West's contradiction in dealing with global issues.

And the Palestinian singer Alaa Al-Tamimi wrote, commenting on the Tunisian youth's refusal to withdraw the Palestinian flag from him, "God revives the great people of Tunisia, and how can we heal from the love of Tunisia, which in us is the course of the soul."
