The Metz city council took place without the mayor, this Thursday in Metz.

The reason ?

François Grosdidier is currently hospitalized.

He announced it on social media the same day.

“I had a small stroke last night.

No sequelae, but certainly a hospitalization of a few days the time of the necessary analyzes and examinations, ”wrote the city councilor in a message published on his Facebook and Twitter accounts.

"Thank you to the staff of the Mercy hospital of the CHR Metz-Thionville, for their professionalism and their kindness", added the elected official, asking "those who counted on [his] presence today and in the coming days" to excuse him.
