Earlier, the head of the Lugansk People's Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, also turned to the Russian leader with a request to consider joining the republic to Russia.

It also became known that the Chairman of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, is holding a meeting with the leaders of the Duma factions, at which the results of referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions are discussed.
