The fear of the recession, the signs of which are already manifesting themselves with vigor in Germany, depressed all Western markets, starting with Wall Street (Dow Jones -1.84% and Nasdaq -3.10% at 17.00 Italian time).

Milan closed with a drop of 2 and 40%.

Frankfurt and Paris fell by 1 and 71% and 1 and 53% respectively.

London was also weak, - 1.77%. 

A trance of 5.25 billion euro of 5 and 10-year BTPs was placed by the Treasury, with strong growth rates, respectively at 4.12 and 4.70%.

On the secondary market, the yields of our ten-year BTP adjusted to 4.69% with the BTP / Bund spread at 245 basis points. 

Natural gas down in Amsterdam, down to 187 euros per megawatt hour.

On the exchange rate side, the euro recovers some positions on the dollar, which is now crossing at 0.9750.
