“The President of Russia gave a fundamental assessment of the unprecedented sabotage, in fact, an act of international terrorism against the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines,” the Kremlin press service said.

He noted that Russia is bringing this issue up for urgent discussion in the UN Security Council.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia initiated the initiation of a case on an act of international terrorism after the accidents on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

The case is being investigated by the Federal Security Service.

The location of physical damage to both Nord Stream lines has been determined; they are located in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark and Sweden.
