Othilia and Eddie got another chance - now both are studying at high school

The municipality of Kil started the introduction program (IM) two years ago.

IM is a supplementary line for those students who have not reached the knowledge requirements to enter a national upper secondary school program.

Here, each student receives an individual study plan.

The number of places is limited and Kil has a total of 20 students.

Othilia and Eddie are two of those who, thanks to smaller student groups, individual schedules and more time with the teachers, have now managed to enter the upper secondary school.

- It was like a second chance.

I thought it was over, but then this chance appeared and it went great, says Eddie Fransson, who is now studying the Vehicle and Transport program in Säffle.

- Everyone is different, but here you can take it at your own pace, says Othilia Gustavsson, who takes the Agricultural course at Lillerudsgymnasiet.
