North Korea fired an unidentified ballistic missile into the East Sea today (29th), the Joint Chiefs of Staff said.

Military authorities are analyzing specifications such as range, altitude, and speed.

North Korea fired one short-range ballistic missile into the East Sea from the Taecheon area in Pyeongbuk on the 25th, and two short-range missiles from the Sunan area in Pyongyang yesterday into the East Sea.

That's three missile launches in the last five days.

It seems to be a reaction against the ongoing joint South Korea-U.S. exercises.
