A high school student was the victim of a stabbing attack on Monday, September 26, while he was on a bus connecting Orange and Carpentras (Vaucluse).

The driver had to intervene several times to separate them and calm things down.

Once the bus arrived at a stop in Carpentras, the attacker got off the bus for the first time before suddenly getting back on.

The victim out of danger

The man armed with a knife then walked towards the victim and struck him a blow in the abdomen before fleeing.

The victim, a high school student in a terminal in an establishment in Orange, was evacuated to the hospital by the firefighters.

She was prescribed 30 days of ITT but her vital prognosis is not engaged.

While an investigation was opened, the alleged perpetrator went himself to the police station on Wednesday, September 28.

He is a 17-year-old boy known to police.

It was to be presented this Thursday morning in front of the Carpentras prosecutor's office.
