“Withdrawal from the MIR payment system will create an obstacle for the work of the Turkish tourism industry and merchants in Antalya,” said Deputy Chairman of Motherland Serdar Uskuplu.

Earlier, the Turkish organizations Vakıfbank and Halkbank announced that there were no notifications about the suspension of work with the MIR.

In addition, on September 15, it became known that the US and the EU plan to increase pressure on Turkish banks for connecting to the MIR system.
