This year, the scale of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Innovation Festival has been fully upgraded, not only opening up the Hong Kong and Macau competition areas, but also expanding the event to ASEAN and other regions along the "Belt and Road".

  The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Innovation Festival is committed to shaping the cultural identity of the youth in the Bay Area, driving young people to participate in the construction of the Bay Area, and becoming an important platform for young people from the three places to conduct cultural exchanges.

This competition is guided by the Hong Kong Liaison Office Guanglian Department, the Macau Liaison Office Education and Youth Department, Guangzhou Overseas Friendship Association, Guangzhou Haizhu Overseas Friendship Association, and hosted by Jinan University.

  It is reported that the theme of the 2022 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Innovation Festival is "Fantasy Parallel Universe", which means that young people break through the traditional thinking framework and explore more unknown possibilities.

This year's Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Innovation Festival's main competition area has four competition propositions, and the Hong Kong sub-competition area has the theme of "Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage".

The preliminary stage of the competition is from September 29, 2022 to November 30, 2022. After the preliminary selection, the shortlisted players will compete in the final competition.

  At the launching ceremony, Wang Fujun, member of the Standing Committee of Guangzhou Haizhu District Committee, said that promoting cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and Macao youth is an important direction for the strategic cooperation between Guangzhou Haizhu Overseas Friendship Association and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Innovation Festival.

Going forward, the two sides will continue to leverage their resource advantages, pool resources across industries to promote the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Innovation Festival, and continue to enhance exchanges and interactions between young people in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
