Vittangi school is closed after protection officer stoppage

This means that students in grades 4-9 must stay at home on Thursday.

Out of loyalty, teachers from the junior high school have supported to solve the teaching and now they can't take it anymore, says school director Viktoria Björklund.

The protection agent shutdown continues until further notice

During Thursday, representatives of the employer, the school's local safety representative and teaching staff will work on an action plan to resolve the emergency situation and look at how the students will get back lost teaching time.

Right now, it is unclear how long the school will be closed.
