According to him, the municipality has worked actively to improve its service, treatment and accessibility towards the businesses in the municipality.

The municipality's politicians and officials also often try to visit companies.

- It is much easier in a smaller municipality.

But you are never better than your last ranking and it is important to keep up this work, says Gert Jonsson.

Best in the country

Jönköping county is the best in the country, where the average ranking for the 13 municipalities is 78. Nine of the county's municipalities are on the top 100 list.

At the top, Habo ends up in eleventh place and second in the county is Tranås, which places itself in 18th place.

Stockholm county ends up in second place with an average ranking of 101. Norrbotten county ends up at the bottom.

Even if the municipalities in Jönköping County claim to be good, there are some municipalities that are falling back significantly compared to last year's ranking.

They are Gislaved (-34), Gnosjö (-29) and Sävsjö (-29).

Even the county's largest municipality, Jönköping, is backing down.

The municipality loses 22 places and ends up in 135th place.

The municipal councilor in Vaggeryd, Gert Jonsson, sees an area that can be further improved in the future in Jönköping County.

- Inter-municipal cooperation can be even better.

It is important that we in smaller municipalities help each other in various areas to become less vulnerable.

Survey responses from entrepreneurs

Svenskt Näringsliv's ranking is based on survey responses from 32,000 entrepreneurs, and then statistical factors from Statistics Sweden and the Information Center, UC, are also weighed in.
