This Thursday, September 29, a large strike movement will be observed throughout the territory at the call of several unions.

At the heart of fears and demands: the energy crisis, purchasing power but also pension reform.

A mobilization that will cause its share of disruptions.

Europe 1 takes stock.

We will have to be patient this Thursday, September 29.

Due to a vast strike movement initiated by the CGT, FSU and Solidaires, many disruptions are to be expected in public transport and services but also in schools, colleges and high schools.

The unions will express their opposition to the pension and unemployment insurance reform projects put forward by the executive, but also their fears around purchasing power and the energy crisis.

In transport, disruptions in shambles

The daily life of the French will logically be impacted.

In Île-de-France, the CGT-RATP will take part in the movement, as will the SNCF, to the chagrin of transport users.

Only three out of four RER B will run in the southern part against one in two in the northern part of the line.

The bus and tram networks will also be disrupted with an average of two out of three buses and nine out of ten trams.

The disruptions will affect a large part of the territory's public transport networks.

On the SNCF side, the RER C will only see three out of four trains running, while only one out of two RER D will be put into service.

The Transiliens H, J, N and R will also operate in reduced service.

Normal traffic on the other hand on lines A and E of the RER but also on trams T4, T11 and T13.

On the metro side, only lines 6 and 8 will see their traffic very slightly reduced, with nine out of ten trains.

In the regions, there will be only six TER out of ten on average and one Intercity out of two.

Concerning the Ouigo, they will only be three out of four to circulate.

The disturbances could even occur as of this Wednesday, indicates the SNCF, at which the social movement officially begins at 7 p.m.

However, traffic will be more fluid on the TGV lines, especially in the north and east where traffic will be almost normal.

It could be a little trickier on the LGV Atlantique and Sud-Est.

Also note that no night train will run.

To know the state of the traffic on a precise line, it will be necessary to consult the site of the SNCF.

Moreover, the difficulties will not be confined to public transport.

The Sud-Solidaires federation, which concerns road hauliers, has also filed a strike notice, as has the national federation of ports and docks CGT.

The latter called for a cessation of activities for four hours on Thursday.

Schools and public services

In the education sector, anger is also brewing.

Several teachers' unions have decided to join their transport colleagues.

Several teachers and professors will not give their lessons this Thursday and some establishments will even be purely and simply closed.

In Brest, for example, the city's website indicates that an overwhelming majority of school canteens will be closed.

It will also be difficult to anticipate for high school and college students since secondary school teachers do not have the obligation to declare themselves strikers.

The disruptions will also affect the early childhood sector with several crèches which could close their doors.

Finally, public services could also operate in slow motion this Thursday.

Concretely, there will be fewer agents than usual at the counters of the tax centers or the CAF.
