China News Service, Beijing, September 28 (Reporter Liang Xiaohui) China has recently revised and completed the "People's Republic of China Occupational Classification Ceremony (2022 Edition)", adding a net 158 new occupations and marking 97 digital occupations for the first time.
On the 28th, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China held a press conference on the revision.
"During the revision process, we strive to reflect the changes in economic and social development, technological innovation, technological progress, and industrial upgrading brought about some changes in social occupations." Wu Liduo, director of the National Occupation Classification Revision Expert Committee and director of the China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center said at the press conference.
It is understood that the revision of the ceremony mainly includes three aspects:
One is to revise the classification system.
In recent years, China has successively promulgated 74 new occupations, and this revision incorporates the newly promulgated 74 occupations into the ceremony.
After adjustment, compared with the 2015 edition of Dadian, while keeping the eight categories unchanged, Dadian has added 158 new occupations, and now the number of occupations has reached 1,639.
Second, some revisions have been made to the description of relevant occupational information.
Adjusted the names and definitions of two major categories of occupations, made some adjustments to the names and definitions of more than 100 sub-categories in 30 middle categories, and adjusted the information descriptions of 700 occupations, striving to reflect technological progress and occupations Peripheral requirements, and changes in technical links are described more accurately.
The third is to label digital occupations.
Continuing the practice of marking green occupations in the 2015 edition, a total of 97 digital occupations were marked this time, accounting for 6% of the total number of occupations.
At the same time, 134 green occupations were marked, accounting for 8% of the total number of occupations.
It reflects the changes brought about in the digital economy and green industry.
Digital occupation is obtained from the perspectives of digital industrialization and industrial digitization, focusing on three dimensions and related indicators of digital language expression, digital information transmission, and digital content production.
Wu Liduo said that the marking of digital occupations this time is a bright spot and an innovation in the revision work of the ceremony.
It will be conducive to promoting the development of the digital economy, accelerating digital technology innovation, building a team of digital talents, and improving the quality and skills of the whole people.
In recent years, China's digital economy has developed rapidly. By the end of 2021, its scale has reached 45.5 trillion yuan, accounting for 39.8% of the gross domestic product (GDP).
By marking digital occupations, on the one hand, it can reflect some changes in various industries in the process of digitalization, and at the same time, it can also reflect the future development trend of the digital economy in this industry, and provide a useful reference for the country to increase the innovation of digital economy policies.
China first promulgated the National Occupational Classification Code in 1999 and revised it in 2015.
This revision will start in April 2021.
