Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council: Only by adhering to the "1992 Consensus" can cross-strait relations be back on track

　　A few days ago, the chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang, Zhu Lilun, said that the so-called "international support" of the DPP will put Taiwan in danger, and support for peace in the Taiwan Strait requires dialogue and communication.

Zhu Fenglian, a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said today (28th) that the mainland's attitude is very clear.

We are willing to do our utmost sincerity and our best efforts to create space for the peaceful reunification of the two sides of the strait, including conducting dialogue and communication on both sides of the strait.

The basis of cross-strait dialogue and communication lies in the "1992 Consensus" that embodies the one-China principle.
