At the RT poetry evening, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, will perform, as well as poets and performers, including Alexander F. Sklyar, Django, Sergey Galanin and the SerGa group, singer Yuta, violinist Pyotr Lundstrem, pianist Valentina Lisitsa.
The hosts are RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan and co-chairman of the Just Russia - For Truth party, writer Zakhar Prilepin.
The RT channel will present at the evening a collection of poems "Poetry of the Russian Summer", which combines works of military subjects.
Dmitry Artis, Maria Vatutina, Anna Dolgareva, Igor Karaulov, Vlad Malenko, Semyon Pegov, Anna Revyakina and many others will read their poems from the stage.
“This collection is our step in an effort to unite those who have always known that a Russian summer will definitely come after a Russian spring.
The turning points of history are always reflected in culture.
And in poetry - first of all.
We believe that the voice of these people should be heard,” the compilers of the collection say.
Poems, poems and poetic cycles have been created over the past eight years.
The collection of poems includes works by more than 20 contemporary authors, many of whom were at the forefront.
The collection uses illustrations by the artist Ilya Pozharov.
The poetry collection "Poetry of the Russian Summer" will be available on the RT SHOP website.
The proceeds from its sale will be transferred to help the heroes of the RT Children of War project.
