The NIS recently confirmed that SBS reports that the person who recently accompanied North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was Hong Yun-mi, a former member of the Moranbong Band, was "correct."

The National Intelligence Service made this statement in the report of the National Assembly Intelligence Committee today (28th), said Yoo Sang-beom and Yoon Kun-young, secretaries of the ruling and opposition parties of the Intelligence Committee.

Rep. Yoon Geon-young said, "There have been reports in the media about the person performing Kim Jong-un in the immediate vicinity. It is Hong Yun-mi, who worked as a drummer in the Moranbong Band and was a performer at the Panmunjom Summit. It was also confirmed by the National Intelligence Service,” he explained.

Rep. Yoo Sang-beom also added, "The National Intelligence Service is aware that he participated as an assistant to the protocol, not as a substitute for Hyon Song-wol."

In response to a reporter's question about the name of the person, the two lawmakers confirmed that "the domestic media reports are all correct," and "Yoonmi Hong as reported by SBS."
