His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, sent a cable of thanks to his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the sisterly Sultan of Oman, after his departure at the conclusion of a state visit he made to the Sultanate, in which he expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for the warm reception and generous hospitality. Which he enjoyed in his second country and among his family in the Sultanate of Oman.

His Highness praised the depth of the brotherly relationship between the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman.

The text of the telegram reads: “My brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the sisterly Sultan of Oman, I cannot but express to Your Majesty my deepest thanks and appreciation for the feelings of affection and love that we experienced during the visit during the visit, and for the warmth and hospitality that we experienced and the accompanying delegation. I was entrusted with authenticity from the Sultanate of Oman during my visit to my second country and among my family in the Sultanate. I also had the pleasure of meeting Your Majesty and the cordial and brotherly conversations we exchanged, which expressed the depth of the relations that unite us.”

His Highness said in the telegram: "The discussions that we had also expressed the strength of the distinguished brotherly relations between our two countries and the common desire to deepen cooperation between them in all fields, which aims to achieve the interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples, and to enhance security, stability and prosperity in our Gulf and Arab regions."

His Highness concluded the telegram by saying: “I ask God Almighty to perpetuate health and happiness for you and your country and the brotherly people of Oman further progress, prosperity and prestige under your wise leadership.”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, left the Sultanate of Oman yesterday, after a two-day state visit.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of sisterly Oman, was seen off at the Royal Private Airport.

His Highness was accompanied, during his visit to the Sultanate, by a delegation comprising His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, and His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a member of the Council.
