Domino effect in Lazio for the victory of the center-right policies: in Latina the "lame" majority of the center-left mayor, Damiano Coletta, in the second term and recently reconfirmed with the vote ordered by the TAR in 22 sections, fell after the 19 councilors center-right have resigned before the notary.

The decision of the elected officials of FdI - Lega - Forza Italia - Latina nel Cuore - a Udc, to which the exponent of Fare Latina was added, resulted in the dissolution of the city assembly and the fall of the mayor.

"Ours is a gesture of responsibility and an act of love towards Latina - explain managers, administrators and elected representatives of the Brothers of Italy, Lega, Forza Italia, Latina nel Cuore and Udc - By closing this unsuccessful administrative experience we will soon be able to ensure Latina an administration capable of solving citizens' problems, giving answers to families and businesses and finally working for a future of development and growth in our wonderful territory ".

Damiano Coletta takes note of the opposition's choice and announces that he will not appeal.

"It seems time to say goodbye. I leave the role of mayor with a clear conscience, with my back straight, head held high, as a winner, even if there are no majority numbers": his farewell live on Facebook.

Now the center-right will close ranks to recover Latina.

The former mayor Vincenzo Zaccheo had tried in the last round of elections, the same one who after the "revotation" in the 22 seats ordered by the TAR had used prophetic words warning Coletta: "the voters have in fact decreed what will be a situation of governability without a clear majority. May this be an element of reflection for the re-elected mayor ".
