A policeman was injured during an intervention in Grenoble (Isère), this Monday.

Around 3 p.m., the officials were first targeted by 12 mortar rounds in the Mistral district;

They then spotted two suspects on a scooter.

But the latter fled by deliberately hitting a police officer, according to information collected by the news site from the police.

The officer suffered burns to his wrist and elbow and pain in his right flank.

The scooter passenger was arrested but the driver managed to escape.
