Catherine Nay SEASON 2022 - 202306:05 am, September 28, 2022

Nicolas Sarkozy and Cécilia is the story of an indissoluble couple.

A romance worthy of an American series, from love at first sight to a terrible breakup, against a backdrop of the conquest of power.

In this "Inseparable" podcast produced by Europe 1 Studio, journalist Catherine Nay, great voice of Europe 1, tells the stories of couples or political duos of the Fifth Republic.

The second part of this episode devoted to the Nicolas Sarkozy-Cécilia couple resumes in 2004, at the meeting where Cécilia meets Richard Attias, who will change her life, and ends in 2007, with the official announcement of the couple's divorce. Nicolas Sarkozy-Cecilia.

On November 29, 2004, Nicolas Sarkozy was elected president of the UMP.

It is Cécilia who takes care of supervising the organization of the coronation.

She discovered a passion for events, or rather, for her new colleague, a certain Richard Attias, whom neither she nor Nicolas knew before the event.

For Cécilia, it's an unexpected love at first sight, but for Nicolas Sarkozy, who thinks of the presidential election even when he's not shaving, it's just a passing cloud in the couple's sky... In this episode of the “Inseparable” podcast produced by Europe 1 Studio, Catherine Nay recounts Nicolas Sarkozy's double battle: the conquest of the Elysée Palace and the reconquest of his wife.
