Aydınlık: Turkey will talk about the details of an alternative to the MIR system in the near future

It is noted that merchants from the tourist regions of Turkey urge the government to solve the problem with the Russian payment system as soon as possible.

According to the publication, a meeting on problems with the system has already been held with the participation of Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan and economic departments.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that in Turkey, three state-owned banks decided to stop using the Russian MIR payment system.

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance of Turkey has not officially confirmed the situation.

Prior to this, Erdogan instructed the ministers to develop, together with Moscow, an alternative to the Russian payment system MIR.
