It was at 7 o'clock on Tuesday morning that blue light personnel were alerted to a traffic accident.
Two people, the driver and a passenger, have been taken to hospital by ambulance.
The road where the accident happened is closed in both directions and traffic is being diverted.
The emergency services are currently working to clean up the road after the accident.
