On September 26, a yield measurement expert group composed of seven rice experts from the China Rice Research Institute, the Northern Rice Center, the Crop Science Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, etc. The yield was measured in the experimental field of rice varieties.
This time, about 3 mu of "157" line and "X56" line of high-quality rice were tested. After field testing, the yield per mu was 717.56 kg and 702.5 kg, respectively.
It is understood that the per-mu yield of high-quality rice on the market is generally more than 500 kilograms, and the rice yield tested this time exceeds about 200 kilograms.
Wang Xiaobing, director of the Inner Mongolia Rice Approval Committee, introduced that the two new lines tested today showed the characteristics of more effective panicles, large panicles, high grain weight, high quality and high yield, outstanding high yield and good quality of rice.
These two new lines are participating in the regional test of varieties in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In the next 1 to 2 years, after passing the production test and passing the "assessment" of variety approval, they will be demonstrated and promoted in a large area.
