This Tuesday is held the seminar of cohesion of the parliamentarians of the Nupes, but this seminar comes at the worst time.

In recent weeks, several executives of the union, such as Julien Bayou and Adrien Quatennens, have withdrawn from their functions following accusations brought against them.

The cohesion seminar for Nupes parliamentarians is being held this Tuesday.

A day that officially marks the kickoff of the counter-offensive to Emmanuel Macron's policy.

Meetings "to consolidate the Nupes", "oppose the reforms on unemployment and pensions" and "to face the 2023 budget together".

But in reality, the Adrien Quatennens and Julien Bayou cases will prevail in the debate, although both are absent.

“We cannot avoid the subject, we will have to put all the taboos on the table”, confides a socialist deputy.

Before adding, "to wage the social battle, these cases must first be behind us."

Several deputies are still up in arms against Fabien Roussel and are awaiting clarification from the French Communist Party (PCF), after his declarations against "the France of the allowances" and his refusal to participate in the joint demonstration on October 16.

The organizers want to close ranks: a cocktail party will take place at the end of the day "to sympathize outside of work".
