The President and the Sultan of Oman exchange decorations and gifts

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the sisterly Sultan of Oman, exchanged decorations and souvenirs at the Al Alam Palace in Muscat.



His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the President of the State, bestowed the "Al Said" Medal, which is the highest Omani decoration, in appreciation of His Majesty Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and pride in the strong brotherly ties that unite the two countries and their brotherly peoples.



Meanwhile, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan bestowed upon His Majesty the Sultan of Oman the "Zayed Medal", which is considered the highest UAE decoration in appreciation of his brother, His Majesty the Sultan, and an expression of the depth of the brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries.



His Majesty the Sultan also presented His Highness with a souvenir of an Omani sword, while His Highness the President of the State presented His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq with a souvenir of a model of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
