Earlier, Medvedev said that Russia has the right to use nuclear weapons if necessary in accordance with nuclear doctrine - in the event of an attack or aggression against the country or its allies.

He added that Russia would do everything to prevent the appearance of nuclear weapons in hostile neighbors, such as Ukraine.
