His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the sisterly Sultan of Oman, exchanged medals and souvenirs at the Al Alam Palace in Muscat.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the President of the State, bestowed the "Al Said" Medal, which is the highest Omani decoration in appreciation of His Majesty Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and with pride in the strong brotherly ties that unite the two countries and their two brotherly peoples.

Meanwhile, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan bestowed upon His Majesty the Sultan of Oman the "Zayed Medal", which is the UAE's highest decoration in appreciation of his brother, His Majesty the Sultan, and an expression of the depth of the brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries.

His Majesty the Sultan also presented His Highness with a souvenir of an Omani sword, while His Highness the President of the State presented a souvenir to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, consisting of a model of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
