The alarm came shortly after 9 o'clock on Monday evening after a person was found dead in an apartment building in Mariehäll, Bromma, in northern Stockholm.
The police are classifying the death as a suspected murder.
- We do this because you cannot immediately understand or have an explanation as to why the person is deceased, says Towe Hägg, police spokesperson.
The police will knock on doors in the area and technicians will examine the home.
The site is cordoned off and has been examined by police technicians.
