In response, Zelenskaya advised the musician not to turn to her in search of peace.

In a letter to Putin, Waters asked if the Russian leader wanted an end to the conflict in Ukraine.

He added that if Putin had reported no other interests than ensuring the safety of the Russian-speaking population of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk, "that would also help."

But that doesn't mean you have to do the same," Waters wrote on Facebook*.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that negotiations with Kyiv are in demand for Moscow to achieve its goals, but the Russian side does not see the prerequisites for resuming this process.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian side will do everything to end the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible.
