The remains found in the park could be identified by the Forensic Agency using dental records.
It turned out to be a woman in her 60s who was reported missing by relatives in the spring of 2021. The police's assessment is that the woman took her own life and therefore the murder investigation is closed.
When the remains were found in the park, it was established that there had been a fire at the site.

No suspect has been found
Since someone must have set fire to the place, the whole thing has also been investigated as a breach of the peace treaty.
The police have interviewed several people who were nearby when the fire started, but nothing has emerged that has led to any suspects.
Therefore, the investigation is closed also with regard to that point.
