- The reason why we are closing to remedy the problem is that mice can be carriers of bacteria and viruses and there is a risk that they spread disease, says Kerstin Albertsson Bränn, head of department at the property and service administration at Piteå municipality.
The municipality will now try to find replacement premises and believe that it will be ready during Tuesday afternoon.
The cleaning of the premises will take place with traps and pesticides.
It is estimated to take two to four weeks.
