His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, headed the country's delegation participating in the funeral ceremony of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, in the presence of a number of world leaders and leaders.

His Highness conveyed the condolences of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, "may God protect him", and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, "may God protect him", to the Japanese government.

His Highness also met the widow of the late "Aki Abe" and a number of family members, where he offered his condolences to them.. Expressing his sincere sympathy for the loss of a leader who devoted his life to serving his country and people with dedication and sincerity.

This funeral is the largest official memorial for a government official since the funeral of former Prime Minister "Yoshida Shige-ro" in 1965
