The top officials of the IAEA = International Atomic Energy Agency and Iran's Atomic Energy Agency held talks for the first time in three months regarding the issue of nuclear material found in undeclared locations in Iran. However, the discussion is parallel and there is no prospect of a solution.

The issue, which involved the discovery of nuclear material in multiple undeclared locations within Iran in 2019 and 2020, prompted the IAEA in June to issue a resolution condemning Iran's lack of cooperation with the investigation. The Iranian side has taken retaliatory measures to remove some of the surveillance cameras installed at nuclear facilities, as opposed to the resolution adopted by the Council.

After that, talks between the two sides were suspended, but on the 26th, Director-General Grossi and Iran's Atomic Energy Agency Director-General Eslami met at the IAEA Annual General Meeting in Vienna, Austria, for the first time in three months. consulted with

In this, Secretary General Grossi said, ``We are ready to solve the problem promptly through dialogue,'' and again asked for cooperation in the investigation.

In response, Director General Eslami of the Atomic Energy Agency said, ``This is a baseless and fabricated claim, and we reject the request.''

This issue has become a point of contention in the talks between Iran and the United States to rebuild the nuclear agreement, and is one of the factors that have stalled the negotiations.
