Alex Rambaud, a Frenchman, is the school-wide cultural activities and dormitory director of Xi'an Liangjiatan International School.
Alex said that Xi'an Liangjiatan International School (formerly the International Department of Xi'an High-tech International School) is an international school for children of foreigners built by Xi'an High-tech Zone in order to achieve the goal of creating a world-class science and technology park. Hundreds of students come from all over the world, and the diversity of cultures is the hallmark of the school.
Alex will be responsible for the design of the extracurricular activities program to provide students with a wealth of extracurricular activities.
The cultural city of Xi'an provides him with a steady stream of creative inspiration.
On campus, elements related to China can be seen everywhere.
"Spring Festival" and "Mid-Autumn Festival" are children's favorite festivals.
The bronze bells, movable type printing, ancient city gates and other models set up in the school also allow students from different countries to understand the history and culture of China.
Alex has lived in China for eleven years, where he started a family.
Making dumplings for dinner together during the Chinese New Year, teaching him Chinese... The tolerance of his Chinese father-in-law and mother-in-law made Alex feel a sense of belonging in a foreign country and become a part of this place.
As an educator, Alex's dream is very realistic. He hopes to continue to work in education in China in the future, develop international education, and make more foreign children fall in love with Chinese culture.
