The department said that a 24-year-old saboteur named Irina Navalna was noticed by a local driver at the moment when she pulled the explosive out of the package, put it in a flower bed and left on a bicycle.
The man turned to the police, after which the security forces took the explosives to a safe distance.
In May, the girl left for the territory controlled by Ukraine, and in August, when she decided to return for things, she was recruited, the security forces said.
Earlier, the Ministry of State Security of the DPR exposed the intelligence network of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, which was preparing terrorist attacks at the referendum on joining Russia.
