The man was arrested on November 14, 2019, but district court proceedings and judgment have been delayed until now.

Chamber prosecutor Rebecca Hällgren demanded that the crime be assessed as serious because "a large number of the images and videos are of children of a particularly young age who have been subjected to violence or coercion and exploited in other reckless ways"

The district court makes no other assessment and writes in the judgment that "there is no doubt that the abuse material should be classified in the way that the prosecutor claims".

The man has admitted child pornography offenses of a normal degree.
