The director general of former Japanese Prime Minister Abe, who was shot and killed during an election campaign last July, has been going on for a while.

Today (27th), 4,300 people from home and abroad attended the Director General.

Former Prime Minister Abe's Director General was held at Budokan in Japan at 2 pm today.



It has been about two and a half months since he was shot and killed during a campaign for the House of Representatives election in Nara Prefecture on July 8.



The ashes of former Prime Minister Abe left his home earlier and arrived at the funeral home of the director.



4,300 domestic and foreign key figures attended today's Director General, and about 700 major overseas figures including foreign government officials and foreign ambassadors in Japan.



Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, who served as the leader of the Korean condolence group, also arrived at the event from Seoul this morning.



Today, Chief Cabinet Secretary Matsuno announces the start of the ceremony, followed by a national anthem and silence, followed by a tribute to Prime Minister Kishida, chairman of the funeral.



After that, local and foreign nationals will make a donation.



It is the first time in 55 years since former Prime Minister Yoshida Yoshida was held in Japan after the end of World War II.



Two general wreath stands were installed around the director's office, and citizens' wreaths started at 9:40 am today.



The Japanese government deployed 20,000 police officers to ensure the highest level of vigilance.



Ahead of the director general, police officers were deployed at major stations and locations in Tokyo, and an explosive search was conducted at Haneda Airport.



The Metropolitan Expressway, the main highway in Tokyo, and the roads near the event site were closed until this evening.



In the midst of this, about 800 people gathered in downtown Tokyo to hold a rally against the director until late last night.
