“Today, I met with Russian military attache Colonel Maxim Yelovik as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen military-to-military communication channels with the Russian Federation to manage risks and escalate,” the Twitter post read.
It is noted that the meeting was held at the British Ministry of Defense.
Earlier, former State Department official Christian Wheaton said that the United States and Britain intend to prolong the conflict in Ukraine.
