Thus the spokesman of the European Commission, Eric Mamer, commenting on the result of the elections in Italy during the daily press point in Brussels.
"The Commission works with governments elected by voting in the polls, the same applies in this case as in all the others," he added.
"Now we are waiting for Italy to form a government according to the procedures of its Constitution".
