If you recently bought a new model of Citroën, Peugeot or Opel car, be careful.

The dangerous product alert site, Rappel Conso, has published a product recall.

Five vehicles are affected, due to defective cables and brakes, for models that left the factory in 2021 and 2022.

A rear brake defect common to several brands

On the side of the Citroën brand, the Jumpy and Spacetourer models, manufactured between January 20 and 28, 2022, with identification numbers e2*2007/46*0530*17 and e2*2007/46*0530*19 , are singled out for a potentially faulty rear brake problem.

The Opel brand is recalling cars that left the factory on the same date and for the same reason.

These are the Vivaro and Zafira models (identification number: e2*2007/46*0532*17 and e2*2007/46*0532*19).

For Peugeot, same thing for Traveler and Expert models (identification number: e2*2007/46*0532*17 and e2*2007/46*0532*19).

Fire risks on Peugeot 208 and 2008

That's not all !

Reminder Conso also alerts on a fuel line problem, which may be the cause of a fire.

The cars in question are the Peugeot 208, assembled between August 5 and November 23, 2021 (identification number: e2*2007/46*0639*14, e2*2007/46*0639*15, e2*2007 /46*0639*16 and e2*2007/46*0639**17).

Peugeot is once again affected by a recall, because of a problem with a high voltage wiring harness.

It equips the 208 and the 2008 leaving the factory, between March 17 and April 30, 2022 (identification number: e2*2007/46*0532*18, e2*2007/46*0533*20 and e2* 2007/46*0639*18).

Owners of all of these recalled vehicles should contact their dealer.
