Only a week after the Riksdag opens, which happens on Tuesday, the members choose who will be part of the various committees - and then they find out which political issues they will work on in particular.

SVT Nyheter has spoken to some of the new names about which issues they want to pursue:

Elin Söderberg (MP)

Elin Söderberg, 38, has previously worked as a political expert for the MP in the cabinet preparation.

She was the party's top name in Västerbotten and for her the most important issue is to "create opportunities" throughout Sweden through climate change.

If we don't do enough now, we are facing powerful global warming, is the message.

- And then I want us to adjust now and also take advantage of the opportunities that come with it, she says.

Beatrice Timgren (SD)

Beatrice Timgren, 33, was elected to the Riksdag through Stockholm County and says that she received the news with great surprise.

The climate is also a matter of her heart, but unlike Elin Söderberg, she believes that expanded nuclear power is important to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

- Many have said that they think the Sweden Democrats have no environmental policy, but I think it's the opposite, she says.

An expanded nuclear power is important to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, according to Beatrice Timgren.

Markus Kallifatides (S)

Markus Kallifatides, 50, is chairman of the S-association Reformists and was elected by Stockholm municipality.

As a new S member, he wants to push the Reformists' economic policy issues, which includes an increase in the financial room for action for the public sector.

- And I also hope to work to ensure that we get stricter capital gains taxation in Sweden - to start the fight against rampant inequality, he says.

Oliver Rosengren (M)

Oliver Rosengren, 30, was previously a municipal councilor in Växjö municipality and received a total of 4,510 personal votes.

He became one of the most crossed M names after party leader Ulf Kristersson.

Among the issues Rosengren wants to pursue, preventive work to reduce crime is high on the list.

- For the Kronobergs, infrastructure is also important.

We need to stop the left's plans for a science fiction train between big cities and spend that money on functional roads and regional commuter trains instead, he says.

Oliver Rosengren wants to ensure that the Moderates' criminal policy also has a clear social profile.
