In his Telegram channel, he said that the agenda of the State Duma this week and the meetings of the Federation Council on October 4 are expected to be meaningful. 

“At the same time, there were no bills on additional liability for draft evasion, no increase in terms under the current articles of the Criminal Code,” Klishas wrote.

He specified that members of parliament will focus on social support for citizens, including those who go to serve as part of the partial mobilization. 

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law punishing looting in the form of imprisonment for up to 15 years.

The President also signed decrees on imprisonment for up to ten years for desertion and non-appearance of military personnel for conscription service, for voluntary surrender and for refusing to participate in hostilities.
